After joining 100 Technology CEO earlier this month atMark Zuckerberg took Facebook on Wednesday to keep the pressure on Congress.
The CEO of the social media giant posted on his site, urging people to call their representatives in Congress and learn more about the subject.
DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. It is a program initiated by then President Obama in 2012, which allows people who immigrated illegally to the United States as children to continue working or attending school legally without fear of deportation. In September, President Trump announced that the program would end in March 2018 as part of a campaign against immigration. However, Congress has the option of passing legislation to save the program.
Technology leaders have taken up the defense of "dreamers" who now live in fear of deportation, arguing that the action could cause a "crisis."
