Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S Restocking Coming to Walmart Tomorrow, March 25

Lori Grunin / CNET

It’s hard to get your hands on one of the most popular products on the planet. Demand for next-gen consoles like the Xbox Series X Y PS5 it still largely outpaces its meager supply, as evidenced by long lines and quick sales every time inventory hits a store. Players have been waiting over four months to get one for themselves. But every now and then there is an opportunity to score a frame, and this week could be your chance.

Most of the time, we have just an hour’s notice of upcoming inventory drops, but we know that the March 25 restock has been coming in for a week now. Walmart.com and the Walmart app will have Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S for sale starting at 12 p.m. PT (3 p.m. ET) on Thursday, March 25. However, there is no indication that the PS5 will be available in this round.

Consoles are available for delivery only. And be prepared: Based on past experience, you may end up waiting in a queue, only to face the dreaded “out of stock” message.

You can improve your odds by opening the store pages in various web browsers and on other devices (your PC, your phone, your tablet).
