WWE SmackDown results, recap, grades: Roman Rains teams with JU Uso, women’s new title challenge

As the Roman Reigns prepare to defend their Universal Championship against Jae Yuso in Clash of Champions, it may have been expected for Riggons to carry out a standard heel-style attack on his cousin. Instead, Friday night SmackDown saw both men’s teams play alongside Shimas and King Corbin – although Riggs was absent for much of the match.

Reigns, who promised Uso earlier in the night to try his hand at Uso, left Usco for the tag team main event before making a very opportunistic appearance to round up Pino. The USO still seemed willing to embrace the regime out of loyalty to his family, but there is a clear tension between the two ahead of the two pay-per-view, mostly a product of Riggans’ than his current status as a man Cares more about who has standing for a long time by his side.

Read on for recaps and highlights of all the night’s action.

Roman Rance and Jay Uso Team

After Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman entered the ring for a show-opening promo, Hayman immediately addressed the fact that Jay Uso, Riggs’ cousin, welcomed Ussey into the ring last week as the No. 1 contender on SmackDown. Had won After Usso came into the ring, Heyman confirmed that it was Riggans ‘idea to replace the injured Big E with Usso last week to determine the Rezins’ challenger in the Clash of Champions. Reigns promised Uso that, when they were young children, he would “kill his ass”, which Usus laughed before King Corbyn was interrupted. Corbin claimed that the entire situation was set-up to obtain a hand-picked opponent, who was just the champion’s cousin. This was followed by Shimas, who supported Corbyn’s theory. Uso eventually challenged for a tag match, later in the night against the Sheremus and Corbin together with the Reigns.

Defeated Jey Uso & Roman Reigns. Via Shinus and King Corbin Pinfall After Remons spears Sheamus. The Yugas left the Youos hanging from the start, not coming out for the match as the USO struggled through two big peaks in a two-position. As Shimus was about to hit a Bruges kick, Riggs’ music became a hit and created a distraction that allowed Usso to gain an advantage over both men before going for an ous splash on Shomas. However, the regime hit a blind tag, and hit Shinus with a pin to steal the glory.

Roman Reins’ heel race is a good start with his opportunistic methods. He won the Universal Championship at Payback and technically won the match without any heavy lifting in the match. Uso may have won the match by himself, but Riggs is a heel, and as such, a brilliant hog. The tension between Reigns and Uso is interesting and different than the standard WWE Dynamic, so it’s hard to complain about it even though the overall angle for the night wasn’t thrilling. grade B-

Belle Reveals Attack On Saylee Banks, New Title Challenger Meets

Belle cut an in-ring promo on the chair she used to attack Sasha Banks last week, stating that she knows why everyone wants her to attack Banks, but instead said she That they have questions. He asked if Banks thought she was a fool who did not know what her partner was thinking. Belle knew, she said, that the bank had been waiting for her for a moment after keeping her closed for years, but said that after the last week, she realized that Belle was now completely worthless to her.

Nikki Cross Diff. Tamina, Lacey Evans and Alexa Bliss via Pinfall After pinning Tamina with a sunset flip. The cross made her entrance as Bayley was exiting the ring, only to face a brief attack from the SmackDown champion. The question of what effect Fynd’s time with Bliss was on the outside of the ring was through the match in front of Bliss hit Cross with Sister Abigail. Bliss then left the match and went backwards. Evans eventually kicks Tamina out with a women’s right before being knocked out of the cross. Cross then hit a sunset flip over Tamina to score pinfall and secure a title at Clash of Champions.

Belle’s promo was what one should expect. He attacked the banks, before the banks could attack him and now their friendship was of no importance because it was not benefiting him. And Bliss Moment was a concrete step in a storyline that has been developing for the past one month. But we saw Cross Challenge Belle twice in July for the SmackDown title, which also includes Extreme Rules. The WWE pattern of on-field matches is tiring at this point and Cross does little more than The Challenger of the Month. In addition, the match was completely forgettable in itself. Grade: C +
