This afternoon, WWE announced that two-time and current WWE Champion Drew McIntire tested positive for COVID-19 and is in quarantine. RAW was reported to have tested positive for McIntire before it was set to RAW to air live normally at 8 pm EST.
The news of McIntire’s diagnosis comes exactly 20 days before the annual Royal Rumble on 31 January. The Royal Rumble will be held from Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida, where WWE is at. Has moved its thunderdome Originally set in Orlando before the NBA season began.
