Wolf Moon is done, here is a full 2021 full moon calendar with names

This week the alignment of our planet Earth, our moon and our nearby Sun created a full moon, which we call the “Wolf Moon”. This is the first in a line of full moons that will be visible to us humans in the next 11 months, and we have listed a lot. In the mix are Snow Moon, Worm Moon, Pink Moon, Flower Moon and Strawberry Moon. It’s not about the prince, but it could also be – followed by Buck Moon, Sturgeon Moon, Harvest Moon, Hunter Moon, Beaver Moon, and in December we’ll see Cold Moon!

Each moon has a different name – and some names may be different depending on the naming scheme of your choice. The dates are the same regardless of the name of the moon of your choice. They debuted on January 28, 2021 with Wolf Moon. On February 27, 2021, we will see Snow Moon. “Worm Moon” arrives on March 28, 2021. On 26 April 2021, the full moon – known as Pink Moon – will appear at around 11:32 pm (Eastern Standard Time). This is one of the easier ones to schedule a good time to watch. It is also a full full moon – when the full moon appears when the moon reaches the closest to the Earth.

Some of these moons will actually appear completely full at very inconsistent times – a time when depending on where you live, you probably won’t see our moon at all. For example Flower Moon, set to appear on May 26, 2021. This moon will be fully visible at 7:14 AM Eastern Standard Time. Too bad, too, because it is also a super full moon!

The moon appears on 24 June and is Strawberry Moon. The June full moon will appear full at 2:40 pm Eastern Standard Time. Buck Moon appears at 10:37 pm Eastern on July 23.

On August 22, 2021, we will see a full moon called Sturgeon Chain at 8:02 AM. September 2021 2021 The full moon is the all important harvest moon! It will appear at around 7:55 pm Eastern. Hunter’s Moon appears on October 20, 2021 at 10:57 pm Eastern.

Beaver Moon will be most pronounced on November 19, 2021 at 3:58 PM Eastern Standard Time. The highest friction of all the moons is visible on December 18, 2021 at 11:35 am – which is the cold moon. Now set your alarm to go through the year at these times and you too will see the most full moons of the year in 2021.
