Williams said, "We wrap up in December and broadcast our first episode in April .That's a four-month change for these big episodes. There's a lot going into the final edition. You do not want to rush this season at all.We owe it to our audience and our fans to do this last season what better than we can. "
He also spoke about his desire for Arya to end. "I always said that I wanted her to find peace, the things that have led her through her story have been very bitter, twisted and aggressive, I would love for Arya to find her true identity and let go of the anger and the revenge that accompanies her on this trip, I would love her to be happy. "
At the end of last season, the dragons of Daenerys ( Emilia Clarke ) and their immense army were finally on their way to Westeros, where Cersei ( Lena Headey ) became queen after the death of her children. The Night King's army (Vladimir Furdik in Season 6) heads south, and a battle seems imminent.
