When does season 9 of Fortnite end and season 10 begin? How much time do you have to do your challenges? What will the last weeks of season 9 have for us? Discover the launch date of season 10 of Fortnite here.
The challenges of season 9 were launched. Most of the time, this is just one week remaining in the season. However, season 9 is a little different than most.
The first thing that is different is that the Fortnite team took a break during the summer. We saw the same thing that happened during season 7 when Epic extended the season for an additional week for Christmas.
Season 9 is also home to the Fortnite World Cup. For once, Epic will not make any massive changes to maps and metadata before a major eSports event, which is a little refreshing considering its past.
All this means that the season 9 of Fortnite will be extended over the World Cup, which will take place from July 26 to 28.
As of today, July 11, there are still 20 days left in this season. That means almost three weeks to complete the rest of your challenges and bytes before the end of the season.
This is the start date of season 10 to August 1, 2019.
What we expect for the last three weeks
Season 9 was the first season in which Fortbytes was presented, which means that there is more content than the Battle Pass.
There are quite a few players who have finished enough of their past challenges to the skin of singularity, which means they do not have much to do during the last three weeks of the season.
So what will Epic have for us in the coming weeks?
The extra-time challenges are the best, and we'll probably be able to unlock new styles for some of the Battle Pass characters.
When Epic went on vacation for Christmas, we were also given the opportunity to unlock the next Battle Pass for free.
This would be fantastic, but it is probably an impossible dream. Epic faced the Apex Legends recently popular at that time and wanted to recover part of its base of players.
