What does Zidane’s departure from Real Madrid mean for Chelsea?

As one of the biggest clubs in the world, everything that Real Madrid wants to do, want to do or even think about doing is destined to have repercussions in the world of football. That is doubly true when it comes to an unexpected event, which perhaps nobody but the man himself saw coming.

So when yesterday morning, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane decided to put the phrase "leave it while you're ahead" to resign, just five days after winning the Champions League for the third consecutive season, a real shock Seismic traveled through the European landscape.

Among those potentially affected by the replicas are Chelsea Football Club, and specifically Antonio Conte, Eden Hazard, and Thibaut Courtois.

Management situation

The fact that Real Madrid does not have a coach could have an extremely positive or extremely negative impact on Chelsea. If Antonio Conte is supposed to leave and that the relationship between the board and Conte is irreparable, Perez could be much worse than naming a serial winner as Conte as his next manager.

The Champions League is already the playground of Madrid and to hire a winning specialist of the League as Conte for its squad, which has the mental strength and the ability to win against any opponent in the Champions League, could be a master stroke Conte has shown that, given the resources, he is capable of winning anything, and in Real, that is exactly what he would get.

Given Chelsea's intentions, this would also be beneficial for Blues results, since Real Conte could save. Chelsea between £ 9- € 20m, depending on what reports we go. If Conte takes a new job, Chelsea will no longer have to pay her full compensation. In fact, backed by the financial power of the Real, Chelsea could probably fire Conte and his entire staff without incurring significant costs.

Unfortunately, there is also a darker timeline. It is in which Chelsea dismisses Conte and then is forced by Maurizio Sarri and ends with Laurent Blanc or Avram Grant in his place. (Zidane himself may or may not want to take a short break before going back to football or soccer, in general.)

There's a version of that in which Sarri ends up going to the Real instead of Chelsea , so the patch Blues and Conte things and live happily ever after … but this is not an inspiring sports film and there are no happy endings in real life.

Eden Hazard has been linked with Real Madrid since he stepped on Stamford Bridge in 2012, and for the past 2.5 seasons, there was an additional motivation for Chelsea's talisman who wanted to work with his idol, Zidane. Respect was expressed and obviously mutual, and maybe it was the biggest reason why we had to constantly pay attention to those rumors. With Zidane out of the picture, the chances of Hazard staying for his next big contract (and thus practically the rest of his career) have increased! Hurrah!

This will not be the only thing that will influence the decision of Hazard, regardless of whether he stays at Chelsea (who will be the next manager) or will go to Real (the ambitions of the Champions League remain), but it is certainly Useful.

Zinedine Zidane leaves Real Madrid and the domino effect:

✔️ What about the future of Gareth Bale?
✔️ Are not there more Eden Hazard stories about Real Madrid?
✔️A new incoming goalkeeper like he wanted to Stay with Keylor Navas? pic.twitter.com/TwjOgCDXr9

On the other hand, we can probably eliminate the already unlikely rumors of Gareth Bale. One of the main reasons behind Bale's decision to leave Real Madrid was his fractured relationship with Zidane and the lack of minutes he has received. A new manager will bring a new regime and new ideas, and that can be a sufficient incentive for Bale to stay (or he could look at these bank accounts and decide that € 600k per week is a good reason to stay). [19659021] On the contrary, the likes of Karim Benzema and Keylor Navas, both Zidane favorites, may now be more likely to leave. The first could be replaced by the austere Bayern star Robert Lewandowski (there goes our long shot) and the latter could be replaced by Thibaut Courtois (with whom Chelsea has not tried to negotiate an extension since winter) or Alisson Becker (Chelsea have identified as the main objective to replace Courtois).

Of course, anywhere between none of this or all this can happen or not. For now, all this is speculation and conjecture, but when Real Madrid moves in the transfer market, all the others just sit down and open the way. In general terms, what Real wants is what Real gets. The resignation of Zidane has launched many wheels, whose impacts will soon be felt throughout Europe.
