Waffle House employees pour food into every drunken customer, use it as a puppet to make him dance



Two Waffle House employees were fired after a video surfaced of them serving food to a client who had fainted and using his arms to make him dance like a puppet.

The clip, which was posted on Instagram, shows workers humiliating the man while drunk at one of the chain's diners in DeKalb County, Georgia.

Employees can be seen pouring salt and tomato sauce over the man's head, as well as placing slices of cheese on him while resting on the drunk counter.

The video also shows a person who raises the drunken man's arms and forces him to "dance". The man, who did not want to be named, went to the Waffle House to recover. After he arrived, he paid for some food and left, not knowing what the employers had done.

The man's fiancee said she "broke down in tears" when she saw the video on social media.

"He went to join with his head, with a straight mind, fainted during the time and took advantage of him," he told WSB-TV.

His fiancée, who also did not want the name, said that the now private Instagram page presents other similar videos from Waffle House employers that make jokes to unsuspecting customers.

"Half the people on your page probably do not even know they're being exposed right now," he said.

In a statement, Waffle House confirmed that they have contacted the male customer in question and apologized to him for the behavior of his employees.

"When we heard about this event, we started an investigation and fired the employees involved," company spokesman Pat Warner said. Dayton Daily News.

"Your actions in no way represent our company or our thousands of associates who strive to provide our customers with a positive experience every day."

Since then, the DeKalb County Police Department has filed a simple battery report. It is not clear if any of the charges have received benefits.

In November, another Waffle House in Alabama was the scene of a truly strange incident in which a man wearing only his underwear fell through the roof after a botched robbery attempt.

"I was trying to break into the restaurant's office through the roof of the bathroom," police chief Tony Logan said. Times a day. "Apparently, he took a false step and went down to the dining room."
