Vaccine appointments are all booked in Riverside County


Riverside County has made more appointments available for eligible residents to receive the coronovirus vaccine.

The county made more than 11,000 additional appointments at all RUHS-public health clinics since January 11. You can register on 22. ruhealth.org/covid-19-vaccine.

Citizens who need help with registration can call 2-1-1. The county announced that they had improved these phone lines so that they could help more and more residents.

In Riverside County, people 65 and older are able to take their coronovirus vaccine, along with adults of all ages if they work in education, law enforcement, food and agriculture, and emergency services.

That group makes Phase 1B in the county’s vaccine delivery framework. People in all levels of stage 1A can also be vaccinated.

  • FOr Staff in Phase 1A and 1B – Tier 1, an appointment from the place of employment and employee ID badge / letter or you will not be vaccinated
  • Appointments and IDs are required for those 65 and older.

The clinics will provide a free vaccine, however, you must register before arrival, have an appointment, and show proof of eligibility (badge, business identity, certificate from employer). Medical insurance information will be requested.

The county has partnered with local Albertsons and Ralphs to distribute the vaccination. However, a representative for Albertson told News Channel 3 The grocer is no longer setting up appointments for vaccinations at their stores in Riverside County because they are fully booked in late January.
