OnePlus 5T is equal to some key updates

As long as your old phone runs Android 6.0 or higher, the application will work fine.

To start, you will have to configure your new OnePlus phone and install the OnePlus Switch application on both phones and approve the various permissions requested by the application.

Next, on the previous device, tap Start for the application to start a QR code scanner and point the camera at your new OnePlus phone.

Finally, decide what data you want to transfer. Currently, the application supports the transfer of the following:

  • Contacts
  • Call records
  • Messages
  • Calendar
  • Images
  • Audio
  • Video
  • Applications (no data saved)
  • Other files

When you have selected everything you want to transfer, select Start migration . It is a good idea to have both devices plugged in. During a transfer test of some applications and images, which amount to approximately 6.5GB of data, the OnePlus Switch application estimated that it would take approximately one hour to complete the work.

OnePlus notes that it is working to add support for older Android devices, more services such as data from saved apps and iOS devices.
