US CDC states that 41.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines delivered, 20.5 million administered

(Reuters) – The US Center for Disease Control and Prevention said it delivered 20,537,990 doses of COVID-19 vaccines and 41,411,550 doses in the country until Saturday morning.

The agency said the vaccine dose is for both Morden and Pfizer.

The agency said that 17,390,345 people received one or more doses, while 3,027,865 people received the second dose by Saturday.

The agency stated that a total of 2,437,670 vaccine doses have been administered in long-term care facilities.

According to the tally posted on January 22, the agency had given 19,107,959 doses of vaccines, and distributed 39,892,400 doses.
