A UPS driver is now out of a job because a customer claimed he caught her spitting on a package at his door – but whether or not he is actually up for debate.
The incident took place at his house last Thursday Ann Patton In Okla., FL – where the homeowner says he saw something on a surveillance camera that led him to believe that a bitter UPS driver retaliated by spitting at one of his packages.
UPS clearly had to come by that day and take a different package that should have been prepared for the driver … but no. Patton states that he was not informed of any UPS pickup, so nothing was left out.
Anyway, Patton claims that when the driver arrived and realized that what he had been sent there to find was nowhere to be found … he picked up an Amazon package and tried to get back at them which was abandoned the day before Was and spitting at him … at least the same thing happened in Patton’s eyes, who caught the alleged spit on the video.
Of course, Patton created a ruckus and angrily told UPS … saying he was told the driver would be canned, but the company refused to change their Amazon package. Naturally, there’s a lot to be concerned about how it’s on … COVID comes to mind.
Now, for UPS … they have a slightly different version of events. The company tells us that, yes, they had set the man on fire – who was a temporary holiday driver – but only did so with an abundance of caution, because in their eyes … it’s not clear that he spits or not.
Decide for yourself … UPS said that it seemed that his friend mistakenly thought this was the package he had come to take and was following the protocol by blowing it up on the label to clean it So that it can put UPS label. He feels that when he realizes that this is the wrong package, he just gave up.
At any rate, they say that he is gone … and they apologized periodically and repeatedly to wives. They also say they want to see the full video before offering any additional compensation, but they claim that Patton has yet to hand over the unedited footage.
