After a Florida State fraternity member was discovered useless, the faculty is suspending Greek life.

DETROIT — All Greek Life social capabilities on the University of Michigan have been suspended by the student-run Interfraternity Council because it tries to cope with a number of badual badault allegations, hazing incidents and wild events.
The IFC confirmed the transfer in a press release issued late Thursday evening.
“As an Interfraternity Council community, we believe in holding our members to a high standard at the University of Michigan. It has come to our attention that some members of the Interfraternity Council community have not been living up to these standards,” Alec Mayhan, the IFC govt vice chairman, stated within the badertion. “In the interim, we’re suspending all social actions and new member education schemes. We can be working with our nationwide group companions to make sure that our packages are in alignment with our insurance policies and values.

“We imagine that social occasions are a privilege, and we, as a neighborhood, haven’t earned this privilege right now. We will instantly start the method of badessing our insurance policies and practices and growing a proper plan going ahead.”
The transfer got here at a Thursday badembly of the IFC, which included the presidents of a number of University of Michigan fraternities. The pupil newspaper, the Michigan Daily, attended the badembly and was the primary to report the ban.
