On Saturday, UFC 218: Holloway vs. Aldo 2 will see a main card filled with live action on pay-per-view. Max Holloway will make his first defense of the UFC Featherweight Championship against Jose Aldo, a former champion himself.
Holloway beat Aldo to unify the belts and prepared to face Frankie Edgar in his first defense, but Edgar retired. Aldo was happy to step in and take another shot against Holloway, who scored a TKO victory over Aldo at UFC 212 in June. Aldo is 26-3 as a pro, with losses to Holloway and Conor McGregor in two of his last three fights, with a decision win over Edgar between them.
In addition to the main event, the pay-per-view card will also include a heavyweight fight between the ever-exciting Alistair Overeem and Francis Ngannou. Overeem has a two-fight winning streak and could secure a title shot if things go his way.
