Tyrese Max involved in potential blockbuster trade for James Harden

Can former Kentucky guard Tyrese Maxey find a way out of Philadelphia in just 12 matches in his Rocky season? It is reportedly on the table.

According to Mark Stein of the New York Times, Maxey is one of two key pieces in a potential trade for Houston Rockets superstar James Harden.

Stein reports that Maxi will join Philadelphia star Ben Simmons in Houston in exchange for a disgruntled Rocket Guard.

“The Rockets are chasing a trade package from the 76ers that will be in the spotlight by Ben Simmons and Tyrese Max,” Stein said. “Houston is set to complete a James Harden trade as soon as today, league sources say, and has followed promising Maxi in addition to Simmons.”

While the Rockets are pushing Maxi to join the deal, Stein is also reporting that the 76ers are hoping to put other assets together in a potential asset package in hopes of retaining the promising former Wildcat in Philadelphia Huh.
