In wonderful news for fans of 2D fighting, developer French-Bread has officially announced a new entry in their cult anime fighting game series. Melted blood. Releasing later in 2021 for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, Melty Blood: Lumina Type you will see new and returning characters take on magical melee action.
The new sequel, the first major release since 2011 Melty Blood Actress Again Current Codewill retain the typical 2D one-on-one fighting action that is the series’ trademark, but will be based on an entirely new engine for the franchise’s HD visual debut. Players will be able to choose from one of 10 starting characters, including new fighters taken from the upcoming visual novel. Tsukihime: A piece of blue crystal moon, which launches in August. The smaller overall roster reflects the clearly adaptive nature of the new game, focusing exclusively on the narrative and cast of the upcoming VN.
Confirmed modes for Melty Blood: Lumina Type include Vs. Time Attack and Survival, as well as a full story mode. Details on the fighter’s engine and mechanics are scant, but French-Bread assures the player that Type Lumina will retain the badge. Melted blood style, while adding (or replacing) certain battle mechanics in the game. A new system is “Rapid Beat”, which will see players repeatedly press specific buttons for prolonged attacks, which sounds suspiciously like Auto-Combo. The rollback of the network code for the new title has also been confirmed.

Time Melted blood It is likely destined to remain on the cult / niche side of the fighting game community, it has always had its devoted army of followers. As such, the news of a new entry will be both a surprise and a delight, and it seems like it won’t be long before fans are back in the ring once more.
