Two dead after swat condition found in Austin, Texas

According to NBC affiliate KXAN, two people were found dead inside a medical building in Texas on Tuesday night following a SWAT condition.

Austin police said officers responded to a “disturbance call” before 4:30 pm in a “commercial building” in the 1900 block of West 357 Street. KXAN later identified the building as the Children’s Medical Group.

According to police, a robotic unit was sent inside the building. Police said a “barricade subject” was identified after the camera surfaced, SWAT team members were called and entered the facility.

He said he attempted to communicate with a barricade man inside the office on loudspeakers, KXAN reported.

According to the news station, a SWAT member said, “We haven’t talked to you in a few hours, and we want to make sure you’re okay.”

The news station said that a loud bang could be heard at 10:50 pm. A KXAN reporter, Jodi Barr, wrote on the scene Twitter That he heard “several loud explosions”, which sounded like gunshots. After this the silence was broken.

After midnight, Austin police said Twitter “The situation in Swat has ended” and they found the bodies of both victims. Their names have not been released.

The investigation was turned into the homicide unit of the police department.

The authority will provide updates on Wednesday morning.

Children’s Medical Group did not immediately respond to a request for comment. As of Wednesday morning, the company’s website appeared inactive.
