Stanley Cup and winner of the Vezina Trophy Tuukka rask he was forced to abandon the Bruins-Rangers game on Saturday after being knocked down by Rangers forward Filip Chytil.
Rask would not return to the game due to a concussion.
The injury occurred 18:22 in the first period. Chytil lowered his shoulder and brought the disk hard to the net, pbading the disk down the short side of Rask. When Chytil entered the fold, he was hit by Charlie McAvoy sending Chytil at full speed towards Rask.
Here is another look.
Chytil made contact with Rask's head. After lying on the ice for a minute, the porter Bruins was helped out of the ice, clearly dizzy.
The Bruins confirmed the concussion during the second period.

Rask entered the game tied with Cecil "Tiny" Thompson for the most wins in club history with 252. With a win tonight, Rask would have become the most winning goalkeeper of all time.
Rask was replaced by Jaroslav Halak.
