Pub owner Sal Zizo announced the news on Facebook, stating that after decades of being open, “an epidemic has been impossible to navigate for the past 6 months.”
The pub is closing permanently on September 29 and plans to hold a rumored sale to sell all its furniture, fixtures, appliances and more.
“I want to thank the millions of customers we have served and the thousands of employees that have helped make us so successful over the last 35 years,” Jizzo wrote.
Zizo is also encouraging pub subscribers and supporters to vote on November 3 and support local businesses.
“On Tuesday, November 3, vote politicians who so badly managed this epidemic and quit work to go on leave instead of passing a second stimulus plan.” “Support and support small businesses that are locally owned and operated. They are in dire need of your help. We will miss seeing all of our loyal customers who have become close friends and I hope you will be able to help those Will help those who manage to stay away during this tryout. Time. ”
