Trump warns Iran after the country considers counter-attack

Good morning and welcome to fox news Here’s what you need to start your day …
Trump warns Iran after considering plot to assassinate US ambassador
President Trump took to Twitter late on Monday and warned Iran that any attack against the US would be completed with a counter-attack “over 1,000 times larger”.

Trump cited reports that Tehran might consider an assassination attempt on UN Ambassador Lana Marx to South Africa. US officials have been aware of threats against the ambassador since spring, but intelligence suggests those threats have become more specific in recent weeks.

An intelligence source told Fox News that the intelligence community is taking threats against the ambassador seriously and believes that the Iranian regime has the potential to crack down on a murder plot. He is one of several US officials who believe American intelligence agencies are considering retaliation for the murder of Tehran Soleimani. Iran has denied the reports.

The Pentagon said that Soleimani was “actively planning to attack US diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region.” Click here for more on our top story.

Hurricane Sally strengthens ‘fast’ as Gulf Coast braces, mandatory evacuation orders issued in Louisiana, Mississippi
Residents on the Gulf Coast “rapidly” strengthened Hurricane Sally in the area on Monday under warnings of hurricanes and tropical storms.

The US National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami said Monday afternoon that storm predators have found that Sally has “steadily strengthened” the storm’s condition.

As of 11 a.m. ET Monday, Sally was located about 130 miles from Biloxi, Miss., Moving in a west-northwest direction at 3 mph, NHC in Miami reported. The project was also soon to begin at the time, where the storm would cause landslides as the storm took a slight eastern turn.

Current forecasts by NHC suggest the storm will be a Category 2 hurricane due to a landslide early Tuesday. Regardless of how strong it is, the effect will be the same, with the greatest risk being water. Click Here For More.

Kamala Harris casually plans during a virtual roundtable under a ‘Harris Administration’
Kamala Harris, who was running in Biden’s 2020 election, deferred economic plans on Monday evening under a “Harris administration”.

During a virtual roundtable with small business owners in Arizona, Harris said they would be an associate in the White House with the campaign’s “Build Back Better” initiative.

However, the California senator briefly appeared to suggest she was at the top of the Democratic ticket.

“A Harris administration, together with Joe Biden as President of the United States,” she said. He quickly clarified, “The Biden-Harris administration will provide $ 100 billion in access to at least debt and investment from minority business owners.” Click Here For More.
