Wyoming’s Carbon County Republican Party voted unanimously to vote for Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., Along with nine other House Republicans to indict President Trump on “accusations of incitement.”
That resolution resolution has been submitted for consideration by the State Central Committee of the Wyoming Republican Party.
Sankalp Cheney said, “Representative Cheney has violated the trust of his voters, failing to faithfully represent a very large majority of motivated Wyoming voters, and to represent the party people in his party and Have neglected their duty to represent their will, ”the resolution states.
The Wyoming GOP has already slammed Cheney for the vote and has sought to “convince” him at its next meeting.
The Wyoming GOP said in a statement last week, “Announcing his decision to vote for impeachment, Representative Cheney deprived President Trump of the process, before hearing arguments to be presented as ‘evidence.’ Denied.

An online petition to recall Cheney on Change.org also has more than 33,000 signatures.
“I will continue to talk and hear the whole thing from my constituents,” Cheney said after voting for the Casper Star-Tribune last week. “But when it came down, the president incited a mob in the United States to attack and disrupt the democratic process. And then, when the violence occurred, the president refused to take steps to stop it. In my mind, they are. Completely high crime and misdeeds. There is simply no question. It was a vote that could have nothing to do with party or politics. “
Cheney is not the only Republican who voted for impeachment to face backlash – though she is the highest-ranked. Ray Jaime Herrera Beatler, R-Wash., Is facing criticism from the conservative base of his district. Washington State group Clark County Republican women vowed to return a primary challenge to Herrera Beatler on the impeachment vote. Harera Beutler’s district includes Clark County.
“If you cast this vote for impeachment, you will never receive our support or vote again at any time in the future,” the Clark County Republican women said in a letter to Herrera Beatler. “Additionally, we will do everything in our power to recruit Washington State’s largest Republican women’s organization and elect a conservative candidate who will represent our values.”

Herrera Beutler replied that he “took a stand for the constitution of my country and the United States.”
“The ruthless mob that uses violence to prevent constitutionally mandated counting of electoral votes is an attack on the US Constitution itself. The president either wanted to help the mob take these steps, or he did enough of his job Did not care. Responsibilities tried to stop him, as he hunted down his vice-president and beat up Capitol police officers; somehow, it’s impossible. Let political chips fall where they may, “Herrera Beitler told Fox News Said in a statement.
