US President Donald Trump has demanded the Fox News Network fire his national security correspondent, as he claimed he had evicted the military – a bomb blast that has dogged him for two days.
According to Atlantic magazine, Trump was engulfed in flames as he called on the “losers” and “suckers” in the First World War in connection with a November 2018 trip to France in which he called the United States military cemetery. Had left the journey of
Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin said on Saturday that two former administration officials had confirmed to her president “did not want to drive to honor the American war” at the Eisen-Marne cemetery outside Paris, meaning that Weather was not a factor.
An official also reported that Trump used the word “sucker” to discredit the military, but in a different context related to the Vietnam War.
“When the president talked about the Vietnam War, he said, ‘It was a silly war. Whoever was a sucker’,” he told the unnamed official.
The source said, “It was a character defect of the President. He could not understand why someone would die for his country, not worth it.”
Trump has defended himself in view of the story in The Atlantic, tweeting and condemning it as “fake news”.
“You work so hard for the military, from rebuilding a completely ruined mess left by Obidan, fixing a broken VA and fighting for massive military pay, and then a mud reporter , Perhaps working with disgruntled people, do so. ” A terrible accusation, ”a furious Trump tweeted on Saturday.
The day before, the US president tweeted: “Jennifer Griffin should be fired for reporting like this. We never even for comment. @FoxNews is gone!”

According to The Atlantic, on the morning of the trip, in a conversation with senior staff members, Trump said: “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s full of losers.”
The official explanation for that missed trip was inclement weather.
Fox coverage has been criticized for habitually trumping Trump’s reporting in his coverage of the story.
A story made headlines on its website on Saturday: “The source disputes claims that Trump visited the military cemetery in disdain for the slain elderly.”
Several of Griffin’s colleagues at Fox have publicly defended him on Twitter, along with Republican Congressional President Adam Kinzinger, who called him “fair and unfounded”.
“I can tell you my sources are unaffected,” Griffin said on-air on his network on Saturday. “My sources are not anonymous to me and I suspect they are anonymous to the president.”
Just before The Atlantic published its story, a survey by the Military Times and the Syracuse University Institute for Veterans and Military Families found that only 37.4 percent of active-workers support Trump’s re-election bid, while 43.1 percent Back to Joe Biden.
