SANTA CLARA – San Francisco 49ers right tackle Trent Brown is not active for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks because of a shoulder injury.

It was not immediately clear who the 49ers will start in their place, but rookie Erik Magnuson became a right tackle earlier this season when Brown was needed as a left tackle in place of Joe Staley.

Defensive linemen Sheldon Day and Cbadius Marsh will not have to wait long to make a contribution.

Day and Marsh, both claimed exemptions this week, are among the 46 players of the 49ers who are active for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks at Levi's Stadium. The 49ers claimed exemptions from the Day of the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Marsh was claimed for exemptions from the New England Patriots.
