PHOENIX — Trader Joe’s says it has recalled a number of packaged salads after a provider mentioned there could also be shards of glbad or arduous plastic inside.
The grocery chain mentioned Saturday on its web site that packages of chicken hen salad, curried white hen deli salad and turkey cranberry apple salad offered in some areas that expire from Nov. 10-21 may very well be contaminated.
The merchandise are labeled with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s “inspected” code P-40299.
The warning applies to chicken hen and curried white hen deli salads offered in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma or Texas.

Turkey cranberry salads offered in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Oregon or Washington are in danger.
Trader Joe’s mentioned merchandise with different “inspected” codes weren’t affected as a result of they have been created at separate websites.
The chain apologized and urged clients to discard the merchandise or return them for a refund.
