Earlier this month, Activision announced Crash Bandicoot 4 would arrive on Nintendo Switch in March.
As exciting as it was, it also had a lot of fans speculating what else Activision could potentially bring to the Switch in the future. Another game that has been requested over and over again is last year’s remake of Tony Hawk’s 1 + 2 pro skater.
If anyone can make it happen, it has to be Birdman himself, Tony Hawk. In a single tweet, he mentioned how he had found out that Crash 4 was coming to “new platforms” and was “a little jealous”, requesting Crash to connect his game.
Nintendo of America made a note to retweet Tony’s comment and then the Activision and Crash Bandicoot Twitter account joined in the fun. It’s worth noting that the Switch is the only console platform that Tony Hawk’s new game is yet to be found on.
Last year in August, there was a rumor about the Switch control options hidden within Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 demo. Of course, this led to speculation that the game would eventually be making the jump to the Nintendo system.
In more recent times, Vicarious Visions (the team behind Crash and Tony) merged with Blizzard and is now working on the recently announced title. Diablo II: Risen. Would you like to see Tony’s latest game land on Switch? Leave a comment below.
