Rapper TI, who played Scott Lang / Ant-Man’s friend Dave in both Ant Man Y Ant-Man and the Wasp, will not return for the third installment of the franchise, for The Hollywood Reporter.

The news comes amid a report from The New York Times , that revealed that attorney Tyrone A. Blackburn is calling on California authorities to investigate the numerous allegations of sexual assault and abuse against TI and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris. Four women had come forward claiming the couple drugged and sexually assaulted them, including two cases of rape. Blackburn also noted that the allegations span more than a decade and emerged in 2005. TI and Harris’s attorney denied the allegations, saying: “These allegations are nothing more than the continuation of a sordid campaign of repression that began on social media and now attempts to manipulate the press and misuse the justice system.” .

But amid the accusations that come to light, THR managed to confirm that TI will not be returning for Marvel’s third Ant-Man movie. It was speculated that this is due to allegations of sexual assault, but Informants close to the third installment of Ant-Man said Variety that IT was never scheduled to return for the movie. That said, it is probably that we not the rapper in future MCU projects, either.
