The warm wishes of former first lady Barbara Bush extended on Sunday when the word spread of her lack of health.

Bush spokesman Jim McGrath announced via Twitter on Sunday that Bush, 92, had declined additional medical treatment and instead focused on "comfort care."

Barbara and George HW Bush has been married since 1945 and had six children, including former President George W. Bush and former Florida governor and presidential candidate Jeb Bush. McGrath tweeted that the big family had gathered to be close to Mrs. Bush.

From politicians to journalists, people offered prayers and good thoughts.

President Trump did not tweet about the sick first lady, but Vice President Pence and his wife, Karen, sent their prayers to the Bush family.
