The web version of Google Photos now behaves like a native application

Not everyone can justify downloading the Google Photos application on their phone, and that simply has not been an option on computers. Now, however, you do not have to think about that option: users have discovered that Photos is now available as a progressive web application. You may have to manually enable PWA support in Chrome to work, but this provides a closer look to the native photo management tool without a significant download. You can install the application on the home screen of your Android phone or, with Chrome 67, as a shortcut on your desktop.
