I In February, the UAE declared its ambitious plans to build the first city on the red planet, Mars.The project, called Mars 2117, was presented by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai at the World Summit of the Government and is part of a 10-year national program that focuses on leading scientific advances.
The country plans to work with researchers from around the world to develop technology that makes it possible to travel and breathe on the red planet. In September, the Dubai Media Office proclaimed its plan to build a simulated Mars colony in the Emirati desert to produce the food, energy and water systems that could help future settlers of the Red Planet.

Last week, the World Government Summit launched an immersive 360 experience ° about what the futuristic city would be like, giving viewers the most detailed view of their city so far.  The launch is part of Dubai's Mars Strategy 2117, which seeks to build the first settlement on Mars in the next 100 years.
Sheikh Mohammed at the time said that "the landing of people on other planets has been a long-standing desire of humans, and our goal is for the UAE to initiate international efforts to realize this dream."
The recently released video begins with a greeting from a holographic representative named Said from the "United Government of Mars", who receives him in his second home. .

The digital presenter says that scenes are set 70 years after humanity has established a community, presenting the UAE provides for the first manned mission to take place in the year 2047.
