An Atlanta hostess is praised for her response to a racist email from a viewer.
CBS anchor Sharon Reed showed the email, which repeatedly used the word N, on the air Tuesday night. The message, sent by a woman named Kathy Rae, criticized her for "harassing the race" while covering municipal mayoral elections.

It's OK for blacks to discuss certain issues, but not whites, really ??? ", said the email. "You are what I call a n **** r not a black person, you are a racist n **** r, you are what is wrong in the world".
Reed read the message aloud, then established the correct information. He explained that he believes that discussions about race are important and that it is a problem that entered the mayor's career.

Speaking directly to the camera, Reed Another message to Rae: "I think that when discussing with someone, you must be careful not to mischaracterize Your point of view, so I will not misrepresent your point of view, Kathy Rae, I understand.
"On December 5, 2017, you think it's okay to call this journalist," he said. "No, but I could applaud. and tell you some things. But, instead, I'll let your words, Kathy Rae, speak for themselves. And that will be the last word "
Reed also posted a screenshot of the email on his Facebook page, explaining that it was not the first time they called it N-word.
Reed's powerful reprimand against racist e-mail was praised online.
