As of noon, the South Bend Police Department says they have responded to about 30 fault reports, and they still have many more pending ones that have not yet arrived.
Almost 50 accidental calls in total.
This is not just South Bend. They tell us that it is everywhere.
There was a car accident on Angela Boulevard on the hill just east of Michigan Street, near the old St. Joseph High School.
Police urge everyone to slow down and be careful.

At 10:20 a.m. The Michigan State Police issued the following publication:
PAW PAW, MICH. The cops are asking motorists to avoid I-94 westbound in Van Buren County due to a multiple accident involving approximately 32 vehicles near Paw Paw. I-94 is currently closed to the west at Mattawan (exit 66) while vehicles are being removed from the highway. There are several minor injuries; However, none seems to be a threat to life. It is expected that this section of the highway will be closed until about noon today.
