STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (WTHR) – A survivor of the shooting at Columbine High School died.
Austin Eubanks was 37 years old.
The Routt County coroner said Eubanks was found at his home in Steamboat Springs on Saturday morning.
An autopsy is scheduled.
Eubanks was shot in the hand when he hid under a table in the school library when two gunmen killed 12 students and a teacher on April 20, 1999.
Eubanks worked for an addiction treatment center in Colorado. He achieved sobriety, but he had been open about his battle with an addiction to painkillers after the shooting.
