The space of the Station receives the last of NASA’s science racks after 19 years

One of the most chapters of the International Space Station has come to an end. NASA has sent the last of his 11 ExPRESS (Expedite the Processing of Experiments to Space Station) racks of science to the orbit of the installation, 19 years after the delivery of the first two. Does not look like much, but that provide the power, storage, climate control and communication to up to 10 small loads are the key to many of the experiments to run aboard the ISS, and will help the station live up to its potential research capabilities.

This last rack was taken aboard a Japanese cargo ship and must be installed and in operation in the autumn of the year 2020.
