OnePlus adds a new color option for OnePlus 6. The Silk White version combines a matte white finish with light pink gold trim.

"Gorgeous" is not a common word to describe a smartphone, but the Silk White OnePlus 6 is one of the few that deserves to be called that.
OnePlus 6 & # 39; s New Color
In contrast to the other color options available, it has a white matte and pearly quality instead of the bright glass design of the Black Mirror variant and the matte black finish of Midnight Black. On top of that, it has accents of light pink gold, from its metal frame and logo to its rear fingerprint reader.
To be clear, the frames, regardless of how little is left of it, are black, despite the white and pink gold theme is happening.
Beyond aesthetics, everything is more or less the same as the others. White silk or not, it still has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 under the hood, a 6.28-inch AMOLED Optical screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,280 and an aspect ratio of 19: 9, and a 3,300 mAh battery. It's available only in one configuration, and that's 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage.
It also has the same dual rear camera combo composed of 16 megapixel and 20 megapixel sensors and a 16 megapixel front snap face. Out of the box, it works with the Oxygen operating system owned by the smartphone manufacturer that is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The best smartphone of all time?
The OnePlus 6 is considered a notable competitor in the heated smartphone competition, and it's all thanks to its relatively low price and powerful specifications. That is the online consensus, at least.
However, it has some commitments. For starters, it is compatible only with two of the four major carriers in the United States, which are AT & T and T-Mobile. For registration, it also works in US Cellular.
More than that, it can not contain a candle to other flagships – like, for example, the iPhone X – because it lacks wireless charging support and an IP rating (it's more splash-resistant than waterproof, according to the disassembly of iFixit).
Obviously, it does not have Face ID, but it has a facial unlocking feature. However, he can be tricked by a photo, which is not really a surprise.
Still, it's a fast phone that can keep pace with the best dogs among the current crop when it comes to performance, and the new Silk White color option made it even more appealing to consumers.
Now the OnePlus 6 starts at $ 529, which is for the Mirror Black version with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in storage. However, as mentioned above, the Silk White comes in a single configuration, and is priced at $ 579, which is still quite affordable. It is expected to be available at 10 a.m. Eastern time on June 5. It should be mentioned that it is also a limited edition, so it is safe to assume that the supplies will run out quickly, if the previous limited editions are passing, that is.
