RALEIGH, NC – A player from the State of South Carolina collapsed on the field and was taken to a hospital during the first half of the Bulldogs 103-71 loss in the state of North Carolina on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for Rex Hospital said Solomon was in fair condition.

Emergency medical personnel administered chest compressions before being transported out of court on a stretcher.
