Treyarch has several patches in a row for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 this month. The developer released the first of these, which added new featured playlists, among other things, earlier this week, and now gives fans a preview of what's to come in the next game update.
On Reddit, the study described what awaits Black Ops 4 next week. The three modes of the game will receive some attention. Zombies is ready to get Gauntlets, which Treyarch describes as "cured challenges of 30 rounds with unique rules for each round." The developer is also celebrating a 115-day Celebration Event in the mode from January 15 to 18. The event will be available on all platforms and offers double XP, XP weapon and Nebulium Plasma.
For the combat mode of Blackout, Treyarch will implement a new looting interface in the consoles, which will facilitate the looting of specific elements. The developer says he will also have two limited time modes in Blackout next week. More details have not yet been provided, but Treyarch mocks that it will reveal more information about the modes, as well as "more Blackout news," soon.
Finally, in the multiplayer mode, next week's update will add Elevation and Madagascar to the map rotation for those with the Black Ops Pass. Treyarch says that future maps will be added to the full rotation "as they are published." The update will also bring new featured playlists, as well as improvements in stability and other fixes.
Later in the month, Treyarch will present League Play to Black Ops 4. This will make the competitive multiplayer more similar to what is seen in professional games, with skill-based matching that puts participants in groups of 50 players .
