Police in Washington state are asking the public's help to identify a man they say threw hot coffee in the face of a McDonald's manager on Friday after he got angry about the price of the drink.

The unidentified suspect entered the fast food restaurant in Lacey, Wash., Early Friday morning and ordered a cup of hot coffee, the Lacey Police Department stated.

However, the researchers said the man was annoyed by the price of coffee, which reached $ 0.97. The man poured the coffee into a travel mug and ordered the manager to give him a refill. The manager refused and asked the man to leave.

Before leaving, the man threw the hot drink to the manager before fleeing. Police said the manager suffered neck burns.

Police said that the man "may be transient and have mental health problems." It is wanted by simple badault.
