After a few days of basically getting nothing, Call of Duty has started teasing Season 5 of Modern Warfare and Warzone once again, this time via a cleverly worded tweet.
Teaser for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5 is nothing new. So far, Activision has released three official teasers through popular content creators such as NICKMERCS, TeePee, and JackFrags.
These teasers gave players good signs ahead in the warzone, such as trains and an explosion in the stadium. After a new sneeze for a few days, the official Call of Duty Twitter account posted that it appeared to be another teaser, this time disguised as a very innocent tweet.
The tweet contains a picture of the stadium arena in the warzone, followed by text that says “to open our doors to ideas” about what the arena’s name should be.
What would have happened if the stadium had been named? Our doors are open for ideas.

At face value, the tweet seems to be nothing more than a somewhat cod Twitter engagement. However, it is highly unlikely that the caption’s pronunciation is a coincidence, so it is safe to assume that it strongly indicates that The stadium is finally going to open during season 5.
It is also most direct that Activision has been accessible to the arena since posting some publicity warzone art a few weeks ago, which showed the roof of the massive building open.
Now the question is how the gods will go about doing this. An explosion in two of the previous teasers is going into the area, leading some to believe that the top of the building is being blown off. However, this tweet indicates that the doors are about to open automatically. Could this upcoming change be a combination of both?
It shouldn’t be too long before we know the answer, as Season 5 is set to release. Wednesday, August 5. It is possible that Activision and Infinity Ward will carry official trailers and a roadmap up to the launch date, so we will know more in the coming days.
