Either one would be a great gift for you or someone else, but it all depends on what you are looking for. The iPhone 8 seems a bit boring in terms of standard old design, but acts faster due to the new bionic chip A11, which Apple claims to make it 25% faster.
Alternatively, maybe you love Samsung or you're just open to one because of Apple's policy of not connecting headphones. The S8 and the S8 Plus have an elegant design that our reviewers love and their screen (a dazzling 2,220 x 1,080) compared to Apple (a 1,334 x 750 meh) really puts it on top of the visual aspect. And then there's the camera test. While on paper the smart phone cameras look very similar, (Apple with a 7-megapixel front camera, 12-megapixel back, Galaxy S8 Plus with 8-megapixel front camera, 12-megapixel back), in practice, the Selfies of the Galaxy S8 Plus seem much superior.
After testing the configuration, call quality, video download time, playback, visual appearance and cameras on each of the phones, we chose the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus as the winner of this particular head to head challenge. Let us know in the comments what we should try next.
