The gesture of Alex Cora of the Red Sox after detecting the children's sign will make hearts warm up | Boston Red Sox

Quite a few children bring posters to baseball games, but not all are seen by the players.

Well, Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora saw a sign on Tuesday at the Kauffman Stadium and it cheered up a kid's day for that.

The boy's sign said it was his birthday and he really wanted to meet Mookie Betts. Cora saw the boy and not only waved, but also took him to the field to meet Betts.

Have a look:

What an awesome gesture.

The Sox start their three-game set with the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday night.
