A new rumor related to the release of The Elder Scrolls 6 On PC, Xbox Series X, and possibly PS5 has been circulating to convey the news of a big change to the game, or at least an addition to the game that could fundamentally change the series. It’s been almost three years since Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls 6. Usually, a game is already available three years after its reveal, or at least, it is preparing for its launch. This is not the case with The Elder Scrolls 6. Not only will it not be released anytime soon, but we don’t know anything about it. In three years Bethesda has said absolutely nothing about the game, at least in a significant way. What we have had are many rumors that fill this information gap.
The latest comes in the way of a leaker who, despite having an inconsistent track record, draws attention with every claim he makes. The last thing they have done is about The Elder Scrolls 6, which they claim will introduce survival mechanics to the series, presumably similar to those of Fallout 76, since it is the same study. Of course, depending on how deep and essential these mechanics are, they could turn out to be a huge gameplay change.
The leaker also conveys the word of “a new creative system for implementing and creating new spells and magical abilities” that are “different. Skyrim and previous games “.
Unfortunately, this is where the rumor ends. There’s no news of a release date or anything super juicy, but this could at least partially explain why the game is taking so long. Not only is Bethesda working on a new engine, but if you are introducing new mechanics and expanding existing ones, it will take time, especially if most of the studio is working on Starfield.
All that said, be sure to take everything in here with a big grain of salt. As mentioned, the leaker in question has a track record that includes accurate leaks and rumors, as well as inaccurate rumors and leaks.
At press time, Bethesda has not commented on any of the information above, and likely will not. So far, he hasn’t commented on a single rumor related to The Elder Scrolls 6and it’s hard to imagine that changing now.
