ENCINO, Texas – A video of a traffic stop in Encino, Texas, has gone viral.

According to the local KSAT news station, the Brooks County Sheriff's Office posted a video on its Facebook page that shows about 10 people jumping out of a white Ford F-250 during a chase.

Although published this week, Sheriff Urbino "Benny" Martinez estimates that the incident took place in 2016.

Some news sources reported that the department posted the video to recruit more officers, but Martinez says those badumptions are "insulting," KSAT reports.

The video has been viewed more than nine million times on Facebook since last Friday.
