A 10-year-old undocumented Mexican migrant with cerebral palsy, detained final month after present process surgical procedure in Texas, has been launched to her household.

The launch of Rosa Maria Hernandez was confirmed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Texas Congressman Joaquin Castro.

Her detention, which got here after border brokers stopped the ambulance taking her to hospital, brought on an outcry.

US President Donald Trump pledged a crackdown on unlawful immigration, notably from Mexico, throughout his marketing campaign. He has vowed to construct a wall alongside the Mexican border.

Mr Castro stated the discharge of Rosa Maria was welcome information, however her future remained unsure.

“The Trump administration has not made clear whether they will proceed with deportation proceedings against her,” he stated in an announcement.
