RIVERSIDE – A teenager turned himself in to police on Saturday and allegedly confessed to molesting more than 50 children during the past eight years in different cities where he had lived, including Riverside.
The arrest came after the suspect's mother told police that during a telephone call the suspect admitted to badually badaulting an 8-year-old man and a 4-year-old man he had befriended in a Simply Home Inn & Suites on the 9800 block of Magnolia Avenue, Railsback said. The children had stayed at the motel with their parents, but had been allowed to enter in the room of the suspect where the abuse occurred, police said.
After speaking with the investigators, the suspect's mother picked up her son and took him to the Magnolia police station, where he was taken into custody.  During an interview with the ficheres, Joseph Hayden Boston, 18, of Lakewood, allegedly confessed to abusing the motel and badually abusing 50 children since age 10 in different cities where he lived, Railsback said.
The suspect has stayed in Riverside since the beginning of November 2017, but he also resided in the cities of Lakewood and Buena Park in Southern California, "Railsback said.
Boston was booked into the Cen Detention Robert Presley on suspicion of two counts of oral intercourse in a child under him He remained incarcerated in lieu of a $ 1 million bail.
Riverside County Child Protective Services took custody of both juvenile victims, Railsback said.
An investigation continued and police believe that Boston has victimized other children who have not yet turned up.
