Night shot at Twisted Moose in downtown La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WKBT): A 31-year-old man from Spring Grove, Minnesota, is being arrested on one count of first-degree manslaughter in connection with an overnight shooting at Twisted Moose Bar (also known as La Crosse Bierhaus) in the La Crosse center
Timothy Young was a firefighter with the Spring Grove Fire Department, on May 14 they reported that he was missing and was later located and reported found on May 20.
The shooting occurred at 12:47 am. Upon arrival at 128 South 3rd St., officers found that a victim had been shot.
The shooting victim is in a local hospital on life support, according to the department.
The alleged suspect, Timothy N. Young, 31, of Spring Grove, MN, fled the scene but was arrested shortly thereafter. Young was arrested and charged with first degree murder. News 8 Now has contacted the department to clarify this charge, since the victim is still alive.
Twisted Moose, which recently changed its name to La Crosse Bierhaus, says it will be closed for the rest of the weekend.
