Spotify has launched two new filters to make it easier to find and listen to your favorite songs. Available to both free and premium subscribers, the genre and mood filters will offer up to 15 custom options to sort your “songs you like” and get the vibe you’re looking for.

Your “Songs You Like” on Spotify are a collection of yours, spanning every genre you’ve ever enjoyed and every mood you’ve ever experienced. Some days, you may want to reproduce the whole eclectic mix, while on others, you want a certain feel.
Starting today, Spotify is rolling out a new way for our listeners to easily classify their collection of “Songs I Like” for every mood and moment through new genre and mood filters. With this new feature, listeners with at least 30 tracks in their collections will be able to filter their favorite songs into up to 15 custom categories of genres and moods.
Spotify says new filters for “Songs I Like” will roll out starting today and will reach all users “over the next few weeks” on both iOS and Android in “US, Canada, UK, Ireland. , Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa “.
Here’s how to check if they are available to you (via Spotify):
- Go to “Your Library” and tap “Songs you like”.
- Then tap on one of the filters at the top of the playlist header to show all the tracks that belong to that mood or genre.
- When you’re ready to switch to another mood or genre, simply tap the “X” next to the genre or mood to turn off the filter and return to your entire collection of “Songs you like.
