Spider-Man 3 actors Tom Holland and Jacob Batalon tease competing titles for sequel

Spider-Man 3 actors Tom Holland and Jacob Batalon are teasing the name of the upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home. Tom Holland, Spider-Man himself, kicked off this game on Instagram by saying “I’m so excited to announce the new Spider-Man title. I can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been up to. With love from Atlanta.” The post also shared what appears to be an image from the upcoming movie and a logo that revealed a Spider-Man: Phone Home title. (Click right to see the logo!)

As the whole internet celebrated this new name, Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned Leeds, shared his own post with another image and a different title: Spider-Man: Home-Wrecker. He also wrote: “We are so excited to share the TITLE of our new movie! Swipe right to see the big reveal! Plus, enjoy this exclusive image from the movie, just an added treat from us.”

The two actors are clearly playing in the first two movies that have the word home in them, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, and it’s important to note that while both stars included a picture with Zendaya in her, she has yet to post her opinion on what this title could be.

Spider-Man 3 is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021, and while there have been reports that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would be returning for this new movie, Tom Holland shot down those rumors.
