SpaceX’s third NASA astronaut launch for reuse of the Crux Dragon and Falcon 9

NASA has revealed that SpaceX may reuse the next Falcon 9 booster and that the first Crew Drew spacecraft was scheduled to launch astronauts as soon as SpaceX’s third astronaut launch, scheduled for early 2021 it was done.

First, however, SpaceX must successfully return two NASA astronauts to Earth in just a few days from now and launch another four astronauts – three NASA and one Japanese (JAXA) ~ to the International Space Station (ISS) ~ 8 weeks later. This will be the second orbital reentry of the crew dragon, but it will be the first time with the astronauts in it. If the Crew Dragon is designed and performed as a capsule, the C206 is recovered with no problems, SpaceX and NASA will deface all teams involved, the spacecraft and the astronauts will inspect the spacecraft, And it is expected that the operational crew will certify the spacecraft for launch.

As mentioned above, the first of those operational astronaut launches will be known as Crew-1 or Post-Certification Mission 1 (PCM-1) and currently not to be launched before the end of September (NET) have hope. The launch date of Crew-1 is almost entirely contingent upon the successful completion of Demo-2 and subsequent certification of Crew Dragon by NASA. SpaceX is in the process of launching all the rocket and spacecraft hardware required for the Crew-1 from its Hawthorne, California factory, and processing facilities at Cape Canaveral, Florida and Kennedy Space Center (KSC).

The New Falcon 9 booster B1061 completed a suite of acceptance tests at SpaceX’s McGregor, Texas development facilities between April and June 2020 and eventually shipped from Texas to Florida on July 11, arriving on July 14. A new Falcon 9 upper stage is potentially closed behind the booster and SpaceX will be able to begin integrated processing, culminating in preflight weight dress rehearsal (WDR) and Static Fire just weeks before launch.

The new crew drug capsule assigned to an expensive trunk and crew-1 is believed to be the C207 – which can now come into SpaceX’s Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) processing facilities any day. Before boarding Florida, the spacecraft must complete several acceptance tests, including hardware-in-loop launch simulations, four SuperDraco abortive thruster modules and static fire of Draco maneuver pods from WDR, and more. After arriving, SpaceX will inspect every part of the spacecraft, complete any final outfitting required, load the capsule with monomethylhydrazine (MMH) fuel and dinitrogen tetroxide (NTO) oxidizer and install its trunk section.

If the Demo-2 Crew Dragon Capsule C206 is able to safely bring astronauts Behnken and Hurley back to Earth and bring it back to dry land in one piece, it is the first in history to launch astronauts into orbit May become the American space capsule.
