South Carolina state basketball player receives CPR after collapsing in the bank


A terrifying scene was played on Saturday at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, when South Carolina state guard Tyvoris Solomon collapsed on the sideline midway through the first half of a game against N.C. State. Emergency personnel were observed performing CPR on the player, who was reportedly lying on the ground indifferently. Both teams huddled together while the paramedics attended to the player, and many in the crowd were left speechless. The announced public address requested a doctor to go to the Bulldogs Bank, according to Steve Wiseman and Aaron Moody of the Herald Sun.

Both teams now gather to pray for the SC State player, who is still on the bench while performing CPR.

Solomon, a senior guard at Johns Island, South Carolina, has started to the Bulldogs in every game this season. He was conscious while being taken to a hospital, according to multiple reports.
